West Park Long Eaton Floods

Life in Long Eaton is pretty dull but once in a while something happens that gives the whole place something to talk about. Walking the dog on 16th January 2008, Sheep dog Bryn wasn’t waiting in his usual place for me to throw the ball.
He looked annoyed, almost put out by a the appearance of a huge lake occupying his cricket pitch. But then Bryn noticed his other favorite hobbie, chasing seagulls and crows and off he proceeded into the muddy lake.
